| Athletic, educated, well-traveled, martial artist, Objectivist, divorced with a young son. I am a professional conflict mediator, former actor, and occasional performer. I am deeply philisophical, though light-hearted much of the time and am looking for a woman to be a true soul-mate and partner in life. My life has been very directed by the search for purpose and meaning, and I long for a woman to share joy with. I apologize for the picture on my profile -- it makes me look far more severe than I really am. Though I'm generally considered a very strong man in most ways, I AM much more fun than the photo suggests. I'll replace it when I find a better one! I was once a professional actor, then became a negotiation specialist. I'm thinking about going back to finish my PhD. I grew up on punk rock and "alernative" music, but love French chanteurs and classical music as well (I was a cellist for many years). These days, I'm focusing on physical activities -- I used to perform as a carnival strong man, but have gotten woefully out of shape in the last couple of years (by my standards at least -- most people consider me very fit). I've also practiced a variety of martial arts since childhood and am spending time improving my skills there. I love unusual (often BAD) films and most people consider my take on life to be a bit bizarre. |

| In my free time I am a referee at football. I have a lot of other interests, too. History is one of my faves, especially the celtic culture and music. My favourite music is rock, new country and celtic folk. I like to go to the cinema and look interesting films or spending my time with my best friends. My friends say that I am reliable, honest, open minded and I love to laugh. Everyday without laughing is a lost day... You should be open- and warm-hearted, open-minded, loyal and have a great sense for family. You should have interests (like mine or another - this spices up life) and great sense of humour.
